Summertime, summertime, sum, sum, summertime!

Oh boy! We're coming to the end of another great year with you and your family. For those who are moving on - we wish you peace, happiness, success and joy! You can always contact me during the summer, and I will respond quickly!

If you're interested in gathering supplies for your child for the upcoming year, I suggest the following:

- A gmail.com address (for forwarding work between home and school)
- A bookmarking site (i.e., Delicious.com, etc.) for collecting educational websites)
- A 2gb flash drive (thumb) (good sales during summer!)
- 4 folders
- pencils, pens (to share in lab)

Needs for the new lab:

- A donation towards computer toner ($5.00)
- white printer paper
- rechargeable batteries for digital photo club
- scissors
- clear packing tape
- dry erase markers
- crayola markers
- poster board
- tissues
- baby wipes

Parents: If there's anything here that I may not have mentioned that you think might be important to your child's learning, please feel free to contribute, and as always, I thank you very much!

Computer Lab Restoration

Greetings,
Very soon, the computer lab will be closed for restoration. We will be getting fantastic, new 20" MAC desktops. The furniture will be replaced with new, sleek tables, and less invasive wiring. I am excited about this, and the students are too! The previous equipment last eight years, which is probably four years past its "freshness" date, and thanks to Councilman Peter Vallone, Jr., through a RESO grant, we are afforded this opportunity to upgrade our lab to align ourselves with the technolog needs of today's students. We hope for a quick transition, especially since our 5th graders will be leaving the school, and they would like a chance to use the new lab.
